傅新民 号新萌
1949年6月生于中国江西南昌， 现就职于中国厦门。 从事绘画、雕塑艺术创作四十多年，先后 被中国厦门大学艺术学院、集美大学艺术学院、 福州大学工艺美术学院聘为客座教授，中国根艺美术大师，中国美术家协会会员。 出版过多本现代雕塑、水墨画专著。作品先后被中国美术馆、成都现代艺术馆、中国上海城市雕塑中心、厦门艺术中心等地收藏。 自2001年以来，雕塑作品参加过中国第十届美术展览、首届中国国际建筑艺术双年展、第二届中国北京国际美术双年展、奥运景观国际雕塑大赛、巡展等多次国际、国内大展。现代水墨画作品应邀先后在美国波士顿、西班牙巴塞罗纳、荷兰祖特梅尔、日本崎玉越谷、瑞典马尔默等地展览。

Fu Xinmin, also called Xinmeng for the meaning of a new bud, was born in June, 1949 in Nanchang, Jiangxi, P.R.C.. Fu is presently holding a position at Xiamen of Fujian, P.R.C.. A devotee to the field of painting and sculpture, Fu has been honored visiting professorship at Art College of Xiamen University, Art College of Jimei University, the Arts & Design College of Fuzhou University, Modern Art College of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. Many of his books on modern sculpture and ink and wash painting have hit the shelf. His works have been collected at National Art Museum of China (NAMOC), Modern Art Gallery of Chengdu, Shanghai Municipal Sculpture Center of China, and the Art Center of Xiamen. Since 2001, Fu’s sculptures have been joining the 10th Fine Arts Exhibition of China, the 1st International Architecture Biennial of China, the 2nd International Art Biennial at Beijing of China, Olympic Landscape Sculpture International, and many other international and domestic exhibitions and roving exhibitions. He has also been invited to exhibitions at Boston of the U.S.A.,Barcelona of Spain, Zoetermeer of Netherlands, and Koshigaya of Saitama in Japan ，Malmo of Sweden for his modern ink and wash paintings.
